If you’re a Pizza Hut QSR owner, you’re likely gearing up for the annual IPHFHA Spring Meeting May 2-4 in San Antonio, Texas.

So, what’s new this year, and who are the speakers? Here’s an event guide to help you get the most out of the Spring Pizza Hut Show.

Recreational event features

If you can sneak away from your stores early, enjoy breakfast and a round of golf Wednesday, at The AT&T Canyons Course, a par-72 TPC course that spans 7,106 yards of Texas terrain.

Later that evening, take time to mingle with other attendees, enjoy hors-d’oeuvres, and browse the silent auction items at the welcome reception.

Thursday night will provide a reception and culinary showcase for those interested in learning about Pizza Hut’s newest food innovations.

Then, stay through Friday to attend the awards dinner with live music from Phoenix, a classic rock band based out of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Meet the speakers

In between social hours, meals, and the silent auction, enjoy inspirational presentations from featured speakers.

David Feherty, a former professional golfer and popular golf commentator, will speak Wednesday.

Not only was he a successful golfer, but a favorite commentator and show host. He’s also authored six books, several of which are New York Times bestsellers.

Josh Linkner, an entrepreneur and founder of four technology companies, believes creativity and innovation are vital to progress in this world. “It’s better to innovate and disrupt your organization before your competition does,” he says. “The riskiest move companies can make today is hugging the status quo.”

He’s survived the dot-com crash and the 2008 recession. His professional accomplishments earned him the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, twice.

Doug Lipp, an international consultant, author, and former head of training at Disney University, strives to help organizations enhance corporate culture and increase performance.

He enjoys sharing Disney’s story about overcoming strategic challenges to become the success it is.

Both Linkner and Lipp will speak Friday.

Trade show details

All the company exhibits will take place in Nelson Wolff Exhibit Hall, which is a 260,000 square foot event room at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country.

The room will be filled with vendors from Pizza Hut’s many business building solutions. Be sure to get to as many exhibits as possible. This is a great time to make connections, collect business cards, learn more about the QSR industry, and grow your own business in the process.

Business breakout sessions

On Thursday, take advantage of the breakout sessions to learn more about the franchise. There will be two session opportunities.

Fueling a hot, fast, and reliable customer service will dive into the tools and processes you can use to increase delivery speed. You’ll hear how this is possible from franchisees who are making it happen.

Pricing to win will look at four months of data to determine what’s working and identify ways to improve pricing, deal strategy, and implementation.
